HOPEDALE — Worcester's Seven Hills Foundation has purchased the historic Hopedale estate known as Oakledge and its accompanying acreage to provide a home for 12 children ages 4-16 in need of specialized care. The foundation was awarded a contract from the state for the care of these children who have various medical issues and little to no family support.

Dr. David Jordan, President & CEO of Seven Hills Foundation was a featured speaker at the 39th Annual Provider’s Council Annual Meeting and Seminar, titled, “Beyond Social Value”. The presentation exposed the dramatic impact that the Human Services sector has on the state of Massachusetts, generating over $3.4 billion in the state in revenue.
