Clinical, Educational, and Community-Based Supports for Children and Young Adults with Complex Medical Needs
At some point, families may need to explore other care options for their children with complex medical needs. They seek a place that offers state-of-the-art medical treatment, educational opportunities, person-centered living, and community involvement. That place is Seven Hills Pediatric Center.
Seven Hills Pediatric Center is a Pediatric Skilled Nursing Community unlike any other. Our exceptional and compassionate nursing and professional staff have years of experience providing coordinated, integrated care to children and young adults, from infancy to age 22, who have profound developmental delays and complex medical needs, require short-term respite services, or who are in need of transitional care after an extended hospitalization. Under the auspices of the Pediatric Medical Director, children receive all the necessary medical, nursing, therapy, educational and leisure services possible to enhance their quality of life.
Surrounded by six acres of land in historic Groton, Massachusetts, the Pediatric Center has become part of this storied community. The beautifully renovated facility has integrated state-of-the-art medical technology into a contemporary, home-like setting complete with large, brightly colored living rooms, physical and occupational therapy treatment rooms, and the Seven Hills Academy at Groton—a private, special education school approved by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). Complex medical equipment has been recessed into the cabinets, and an environmental friendly monitoring system provides a relaxing and calming setting. Family rooms allow visitors to experience a spacious living room atmosphere with a view of the beautiful grounds. The philosophy of person-centered living is driven by the parent- centered team approach that is the hallmark of the award-winning Seven Hills Pediatric Center.
