LEARN MOREAbout Seven Hills Residential Services
Seven Hills Foundation’s Adult Residential Services provide a comprehensive continuum of residential and community-based support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and acquired brain injury across Massachusetts. Through more than 130 residential group home settings, Seven Hills supports people to live safely, with dignity, autonomy, and meaningful connections to their communities.
Residential services are grounded in person-centered, trauma-informed practices and are supported by an integrated multidisciplinary clinical team that includes nursing, behavioral health, psychology, and specialized clinicians. This team-based model ensures coordinated care for people with complex medical, behavioral, and cognitive needs, including those requiring medically intensive, behaviorally intensive, brain injury–specific, and autism-focused supports. Across all residential options, Seven Hills prioritizes quality, safety, choice, and independence, helping individuals strengthen daily living skills while maintaining relationships with family and community.
In addition to traditional group residential settings, Seven Hills offers Shared Living, which matches people with trained caregivers who provide 24/7 support in a family-based environment, promoting long-term stability, community inclusion, and skill development. Seven Hills’ Adult Residential Services also includes Independent Living Support and Community Habilitation and Home-Based Residential Supports, enabling people to remain in their own homes or with family members while receiving tailored assistance. These flexible models combine navigation, direct services, and individualized funding to address evolving needs, reduce reliance on institutional care, and strengthen natural and community supports.
Through Adult Residential Services, Seven Hills delivers equitable, sustainable, and high-quality residential solutions that meet people where they are—offering the right level of support at the right time to promote long-term independence, stability, and community membership.
"We never dreamed that our son, Steven, would be able to live in such a beautiful home right in our own community, with such a dedicated and compassionate staff. Thanks to Seven Hills, we see joy in his eyes and for that we are so grateful." –Donnie
