Employee Spotlight:
Elena Peltola, Direct Support Professional
"What first drew me to Seven Hills was its wide reach and the range of services it offers across different populations. Coming from a mental health services background, I saw Seven Hills broad catchment area as a sign that the organization was doing meaningful, impactful work - and that reputation was echoed by people outside the company too. I was looking for a place where I could grow, where I wouldn’t feel stuck in my role, and Seven Hills stood out as a place full of opportunity, and that’s exactly what I’ve found. I’ve been supported in learning new skills while also being valued for the experience I brought with me. I feel respected, challenged, and part of something that truly matters."
"What’s most rewarding as a Direct Support Professional is knowing I go home each day having made a difference—not just for the client, but for their entire family. That sense of purpose, combined with a workplace culture that aligns with my values, has made Seven Hills feel like the right fit. There’s always room to grow here, and the organization is genuinely committed to helping its employees find roles they’re passionate about. It’s about improving lives. That mindset runs deep in the people who work here, and it’s one of the many reasons I’m proud to be part of the team."
