What is Workplace Mediation?

Workplace mediation is a collaborative process designed to resolve conflicts
between employees, teams, or management in a constructive and respectful way. A
neutral co-mediation team facilitates open communication, helping all parties better
understand each other’s perspectives, identify underlying issues, and develop
mutually agreeable solutions.

Mediation can address a wide range of workplace challenges, including:

  • Personality conflicts and communication breakdowns
  • Disputes between employees or departments
  • Supervisor-employee tensions
  • Harassment, discrimination, or hostile work environment claims
  • Return-to-work or accommodation issues

By focusing on problem solving rather than blame, workplace mediation helps
organizations:

  • Reduce stress and tension among staff
  • Improve communication and teamwork
  • Restore positive working relationships
  • Prevent escalation to formal complaints or litigation

Family Services of Central Massachusetts looks forward to compassionately working
with your organization. Our fee for service can be found at the bottom of our Sliding
Fee Scale under “Set Fees”.
