The Liaison for Families Involved with DCF
Seven Hills’ Lead Agency is a partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) Worcester West office. The Area Lead Agency is the liaison for families involved with DCF to access an expansive, integrated system of services that connect children and families being served by the Massachusetts child welfare system with vital mental health care.
The Area Lead Agency provides a single point of entry into this integrated system and ensures a “seamless” referral process for families who may need additional supportive services including community based, in-home or out-of-home interventions. These services might include parent support, youth support, family stabilization, after-school services, assessment, or out of home placements. Our team provides coordination for all service referrals, facilitates family team meetings, and manages and coordinates any emergency placement services that may arise. The Area Lead Agency facilitates collaboration between families, DCF and providers and monitors progress towards identified goals.
Who are Clients of the Lead Agency Partnership?
Clients of the Family Networks program can be children and adults of all ages involved with the Department of Children and Families (DCF).
