United Way of Central Massachusetts has awarded Children’s Friend a grant in the amount of $17,726 for its Dialectical Behavior Therapy Program. This important program helps adolescents who are engaging in dangerous and self-destructive behaviors learn coping mechanisms towards triggers that initiate the harmful behaviors.
