Children’s Friend would like to express their gratitude to the Diocese of Worcester and the St. Vincent Community Healthcare Fund Committee for the recent grant of $3,000.00 for the Carriage House Grief Support Center. The COVID-19 pandemic has intensified the need for grief support in our community, especially for our youth. The Carriage House provides grief support groups to children and teens ages 3-18 whose parents, other primary caregivers, or siblings have died, as well as concurrent support groups for surviving parents and caregivers. Thank you, Diocese of Worcester and the St. Vincent Community Healthcare Fund Committee, for your ongoing support of the Carriage House, the only program of its kind in central Massachusetts.
