The Seven Hills Pediatric Center at Hopedale is truly grateful to the Polly C. & Joseph R. Carter Fund of the Greater Worcester Community Foundation for their recent grant of $1,400.00 to support transportation costs for families. Hopedale provides 24/7 supports for children and youth with medical complexity who have significant cognitive and developmental disabilities, who are non-verbal, non-ambulatory, and are DCF involved. It is incredibly important that all children stay connected with their family. Unfortunately, many of our families do not own a vehicle, and are unable to shoulder the cost of transportation to our center. Thanks to the Polly C. & Joseph R. Carter Fund our families will be able to visit with their children.
