The Gender Wellness Initiative (GWI) of Children’s Friend seeks to create empowered spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth, their families, and allies to thrive. We strive to be the primary source for mental health, staff training, and outreach for transgender, gender-expansive, and gender-diverse youth in the greater Worcester community. YOU, Inc. is excited to thank the Greater Worcester Community Foundation for their continued support of the GWI through their recent grant of $15,000, so that together we can best serve the youth in our shared community.
