Therapeutic Lifelong Learning
Models of support for adults with disabilities at Seven Hills include a Day Habilitation and Employment focus, supporting each person to build skills needed to enjoy their community while exploring employment opportunities.
Services include access to behavioral and nursing support where appropriate. Encouragement is offered in functional life skills, health maintenance, fine- and gross-motor skills, self-direction, community utilization, socialization, communication and more.
The Day Services model provides an environment that reflects the needs, interests, abilities, and desires of the people supported. The programs operate Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Skill-based learning is offered through:

- Comprehensive Arts Curriculum
- Saori Weaving
- Music Therapy
- Assistive Technology
- Health and Wellness Curriculum
- Gross and Fine Motor Rooms
- Therapeutic Horticulture
- Massage Therapy
- Multimedia Clubhouse

Support Goals:
- Offer opportunities for choice, initiation, and risk taking
- Provide challenging, meaningful activities that promote personal growth
- Encourage and teach maximal participation by providing increased opportunities for motivation, independence, and self-direction
- Capitalize on each person’s capabilities, strengths, and preferences
- Offer respectful, dignified, cultural, and age-appropriate services
- Provide therapeutically-based skills training
Employment is offered as both group supported and individual community exploration, while skill building continues.
