Open Door Arts, an affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation is excited to announce a new partnership and a grant of $10,000 from The Beker Foundation to support The COOL Schools program for the 2021-2022 school year. In collaboration with three Boston Public Schools, COOL Schools, a program of Open Door Arts, provides inclusive, arts-integrated learning for students in pre-K through 12th grade. Through the placement of teaching artists, students with and without disabilities learn together about drama, dance, visual arts, music, and media arts. The goals of COOL Schools are to deepen student engagement in the arts, while at the same time promoting inclusion and improving academic, social/emotional, and artistic outcomes. We are so proud to partner The Beker Foundation to help increase access to the arts for individuals with and without disabilities in the Greater Boston area. Thank you!
