The Greater Lowell Family Support Center recently welcomed more than 100 community members for its annual Summer Bash, creating a fun-filled day of connection, laughter, and family-friendly activities.
Families, caregivers, staff, and volunteers came together to celebrate the end of summer with activities designed to bring people together and strengthen community connections.
Highlights included:
Volunteer Theresa, affectionately known as "The Hot Dog," kept guests smiling while serving refreshments, and parent volunteers showcased their creativity through face painting. Staff members also hosted a crowd-favorite "Soak the Staff" trivia game, helping attendees cool off during the final days of summer heat.
The Summer Bash highlighted the important role Family Support Centers play in creating opportunities for connection, belonging, and support for families throughout the community.
Seven Hills Foundation joined community members at La Casa Cultural's first-ever Dominican Festival on September 5 at Institute Park in Worcester, celebrating culture, heritage, and community pride.
The inaugural festival brought together residents, families, and community organizations for a day of entertainment and cultural celebration.

Staff and residents from Adult Residential Services enjoyed dancing, connecting with community members, and experiencing the vibrant traditions represented throughout the event.
Performers from Central America, Brazil, Latin America, and the Dominican Republic showcased the diversity that makes Worcester's community so strong. The festival also recognized the United States' upcoming 250th anniversary, making it a meaningful celebration of both cultural heritage and community unity.
