Seven Hills Rhode Island would like to thank the Moran-Ventre Charitable Foundation for their $500 grant award and the Rhode Island Foundation for their grant award of $5,000 towards the well-being and quality of life for the individuals with disabilities participating in our adult day habilitation and residential programs. This support will allow us to purchase basic needs items that will make everyday tasks easier for a person with an intellectual and developmental disability such medical necessities, wheelchairs, assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and basic furniture. Other items include food, clothing, housing/rental assistance, utilities assistance, transportation assistance and toiletries, based on individual need and circumstance. Without these funds our participants would not receive some of these basic necessities.
