Next up–we would like to introduce Ana Morales, a former Family Support Director at Seven Hills Family Services and current Onboarding Coordinator for Seven Hills Foundation. Coming from a family where both her parents were teachers, she always understood the importance of community and creating a positive impact for those around her. She enjoyed working at Family Services because as a mother of a child with special needs, she felt that she could relate to the circumstances of the families she worked with and act as the ‘caregiver’ they needed. During her 11 years at Seven Hills, Ana has provided services such as workshops for low-income families where they learn about how medical insurance works, social security processes and financial resources available to cater to their needs. She not only assisted misplaced families by building their network, but has also provided them with support mechanisms until they feel well-connected with the community.
In her current role as Onboarding Coordinator, she has been able to help the Seven Hills team grow. She believes that her job is truly rewarding, and one should join this field “for the right reasons”, including compassion and selflessness. We are grateful to Ana for all her efforts!
