The act of creating art enhances the independence, quality of life, social outcomes, and self-esteem for people with disabilities. Open Door Arts, an affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation, would like to thank the Webster Five Foundation for their recent generous grant of $2,500 to support arts programing through the Open Door Gallery at the Worcester Art Museum (ODG@WAM). Our ongoing partnership with the Worcester Art Museum has enabled us to continue to provide meaningful opportunities for creative expression, socialization, and learning for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the pandemic. In the coming year we have created both virtual and in-person arts-based workshops, taught by arts educators at the Worcester Art Museum, for Seven Hills participants.
