Seven Hills Rhode Island (SHRI) would like to thank Navigant Credit Union for their generous grant award of $2,500. SHRI will use these funds to teach healthy growing and gardening workshops for participants attending the Day Habilitation program at the Woonsocket, RI location. Partnering with instructors from ALC Consulting and Design from Warwick, RI, individuals will be introduced to the world of hydroponic gardening while also learning the importance of healthy living and eating. The goal of this program is to strengthen and expand opportunities that increase the physical health and mental wellness of people living with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism.
