Congressman Joseph Kennedy, 4th Massachusetts District visited Seven Hills Pediatric Center in Hopedale on Friday, July 7th. The purpose of the visit was for Congressman Kennedy to witness first-hand the people and programs that will be devastated by the proposed Medicaid cuts now being offered in the US Senate and the House of Representatives.
Visions of Avalon: A Community in Dialogue with the Medieval Collection is now opened at the Open Door Gallery @ Worcester Art Museum and runs from June 23 to August 15
Elin Howe, Commissioner of the MA Department of Developmental Services, was at Seven Hills to participate in the Urban Youth Collaborative Program statewide planning meeting. Commissioner Howe is retiring from DDS on July 14th and will be missed by our Seven Hills Family.
Seven Hills Family Services, Gateway Players Theatre, Inc., Shining Stars, and VSA Massachusetts teamed up to create three inclusive groups to craft stories into performance vignettes, videos, poems, and other expressions of our common human experience.
The rain on May 25th did not dampen the spirits of the wonderful folks who joined us for the 29th Annual New Beginnings Charity Golf Tournament held at Highfields Golf & Country Club in Grafton, MA. The cause—to enhance the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities in Greater Worcester. The results—$40K was raised for the Community Connections Programs
