Liz Doles - “Nothing is Wasted in God’s Economy”

The VSA MA Open Door Gallery at WAM will be featuring the stitched constructions of Liz Doles through February 15. In this body of work, Liz Doles creates stitched compositions with scrap fabrics and discarded garment labels, approaching them as a painter. Like brush strokes, each scrap exists in a space that is part of and yet separate from the physical world. Truly, nothing is wasted in God's economy.

Healing the hearts of children

Seven Hills Foundation affiliate, Children’s Friend, is proud to announce that they are the recent recipient of a $1,500 grant award from the Diocese of Worcester’s St. Vincent Healthcare Fund. These substantial funds will be utilized to support The Carriage House program, a free grief support group for children and their families who are suffering from the loss of a loved one.

Seven Hills ASPiRE! has been awarded $17,900 from Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation towards their Milford ASPIRE! Workforce and Employment Readiness Program in FY19. Funds will support the purchase and implementation of a state-of-the-art, cloud-based job training and job readiness tool designed to help participants understand and identify their areas of greatest need and interests...

Grant to replace outdated technology

Through the generosity of the George F. and Sybil H. Fuller Foundation, United Way of Central Massachusetts has granted $5,000 to Seven Hills ASPiRE! to purchase two new computers and assistive technology accessories for participants who attend Seven Hills ASPiRE! located at 799 West Boylston Street location in Worcester.
