Webster Five Bank and Seven Hills

President of Webster Five, Richard T. Leahy and Executive Director of the Webster Five Foundation, Karen Kempski-Aquino arrived at Hope Ave to present the check and to learn more about how the grant enhances the lives of those supported through the initiative. “This gift will enable many of the individuals we support access greater communication, social opportunities and personal growth.” said Dr. Kate Cleary, Vice President of Seven Hills Family Services. The funds are being used to purchase technology for the Hope Ave site in Worcester and include iPads, digital cameras, Wancom Boards for graphic and digital art, and SMART Boards for interactive learning.
Webster Five also issued a challenge to Seven Hills to match the original $2,500 commitment by getting other financial institutions in the Worcester area to contribute. Seven others stepped up to match, so the total amount to the Assistive Technology Initiative is $7,500. Special thank you to, AllCom Credit Union, Worcester Credit Union, Grafton Credit Union, Millbury Federal Credit Union, Millbury Savings Bank, Webster First Federal Credit Union, United Bank Community Giving Program for their contributions.
