Seven Hills Behavioral Health Receives Outstanding Results
In August 2011, the outpatient substance abuse programs and the methadone program in Southeastern Massachusetts, achieved a nearly flawless licensing review by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH). This is quite an achievement given the changing state regulations and the number of persons served by these programs.
In the Fall, each of Seven Hills Behavioral Health’s Clinical Programs underwent a CARF reaccreditation survey. SHBH was honored to receive three-year accreditation for all of these programs—the highest accreditation status awarded. The CARF surveyors praised the programs’ strengths, stating:
- “The organization employs deeply committed and caring staff members who demonstrate a sense of pride and ownership in the services provided;”
- “Persons served are complimentary of the services they receive; reporting the positive impact the program has and continues to have on their lives. Persons served expressed that they are treated with respect and dignity;”
- “The staff members of Seven Hills Behavioral Health are advocates for the persons served and demonstrate commitment to improving the community’s understanding and support for those afflicted with mental health and addiction issues.”
