Innovative Clinical Services in a Residential Setting

Seven Hills is a leader in providing high-intensity clinical residential services to individuals with significant behavioral health needs. Our person-centered approach, well-trained personnel, and experience using Positive Behavioral Supports (PBS) have helped us successfully support individuals to live in a home of their own, where they are thriving and enjoying a quality of life that they did not know was possible. The cornerstone of our value system, and the underlying theme of Seven Hills’ approach to assisting people with these challenges, is our critical emphasis on dignity, respect, and “person-centered living.” Each person supported is encouraged to direct his or her own life, develop and strengthen relationships with friends and family, and participate actively in the community based on interests and preferences.

Each home managed by Seven Hills has access to a clinician with specialized training using the most clinically-indicated interventions for that population. The Director of Clinical Services, a licensed psychologist and doctoral- level, Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides oversight to the clinician assigned to each home in the development of behavioral planning, training, and observation, and utilizes PBS as a framework that guides the design of environments for individuals.  Our clinical philosophy consists of four core principles: Least Restrictive Approach; Positive Behavior Supports; Empirically Supported Intervention; and Approaches that are Sensitive to Clinical History.  Clinicians ensure that residential staff are knowledgeable about and are effective in implementing behavior plans.  Our residential and clinical staff provides an exceptional standard of care and support based on each person's specialized needs.
