Public Affairs Press Release Seven Hills Foundation Receives the Highest Level of Re-Accreditation by CARF January 21, 2005 - Seven Hills Foundation and its affiliate, Seven Hills Family Services is pleased to announce that following a three day review in December by CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities found significant strengths in many areas of operation and re-accredited the human services organization for an additional three years, the highest accomplishment in the human services arena. The report, released just this week, describes the organization as innovative and creative in their approach to providing employment and community options, and integration services to both adults and older adults with developmental disabilities. The CARF representatives who visited many of the delivery sites for supports and services found the Seven Hills staff to be caring, compassionate and totally committed to the organization’s mission. The report went on to state that the value of the professional staff was deemed to be an integral component to the success of sustained quality services to the individuals supported by Seven Hills Foundation. Furthermore, the report highlighted the organization’s extensive training offered both in person, and through their internal intranet site, as well as an excellent performance evaluation format that builds and recognizes broad based skills and competencies. The report also acknowledged the highly individualized case management and the commitment by staff to identify social, creative, educational, and employment pursuits that match the interests of the individuals supported. CARF was very pleased with the overall satisfaction by persons supported, families and other stakeholders in the community.
