(Case Management, Advocacy, Referrals, Education), received the “2006 Health & Human Services Award” at the 7th Annual Hispanic Recognition Excellence Awards held in New Bedford on Wednesday, October 18, 2006. The Luis Martinez House and Project C.A.R.E. are both based in New Bedford and operated by Seven Hills Behavioral Health. The Luis Martinez House is a long-term, independent-living program for individuals infected with HIV/AIDS. Jessica manages the care of 10 individuals, both men and women, who reside in the home and are provided with 24-hour staff support.

Project C.A.R.E. provides HIV/AIDS Case Management Services including Transportation, Peer Support, and Acupuncture treatments for pain management. As the program’s Director, Jessica oversees a staff of seven who provide services that address the essential needs of clients
