Seven Hills Foundation Welcomes
Children's Aid & Family Service as New Affiliate
On October 1, 2006 Seven Hills Foundation officially welcomed Children’s Aid & Family Service (CAFS) into its family of Affiliates.
Based in Fitchburg, MA, Children’s Aid & Family Service has been serving the communities of North Central Massachusetts since 1876. Its mission is to provide the highest quality day care, social, and mental health services designed to strengthen families and individuals, build healthy relationships, and promote self-sufficiency throughout Central Massachusetts. CAFS serves 8,430 children and families annually throughout Worcester County.
Children’s Aid & Family Service’s current programs include a Child Care Center, Family Day Care, Child Care Resources, and Counseling Services supporting clients in the greater Fitchburg/Leominster communities. As an Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation, CAFS will continue to serve the community with its unique and innovative programs, assisting families that are striving to achieve self-sufficiency through a successful life/work balance.
The President and CEO of Seven Hills Foundation,
Dr. David A. Jordan, emphasized the importance of continuing the mission of CAFS. “We are honored to have aligned with such a distinguished affiliate partner in Children’s Aid & Family Service. Our intent is to assist their child day care, mental health counseling, and related services to grow and prosper in concert with the desires and needs of this very unique and vibrant community.”
