Internships, Urban Youth & Volunteering
The goal of internships, Urban Youth, and volunteer placement is to provide young people with an opportunity to gain important practical experience which will complement their education and lead to future employment within the field of Human Services. Goals of individualized placements include:
- To promote a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and the many ways in which skilled staff enhance the lives of participants in Seven Hills Foundation and Affiliate programs.
- To introduce young people to the myriad of opportunities for rewarding careers within the human service arena.
- To introduce young people to the mission, goals, and values of Seven Hills Foundation in particular.
Individual requests for opportunities to intern or volunteer are considered on a case-by-case basis and are coordinated through the office of Human Resources. An application must be completed prior to any consideration for placement.
