Divorce Seminars

Reducing the Effects of Divorce

You and your child's other parent will always be connected in some way by your shared parenting concern and responsibility. Making this situation work is challenging and sometimes very difficult for parents and their children.

This 5-½ hour seminar will help you to continue parenting your children effectively­ and to assist them in coping with the effects of separation or divorce.

Topics that will be discussed:

• How families experience separation, divorce, and custody/visitation disputes
• Typical reactions of children
• Developmental needs of children
• Strategies to help children cope
• Common pitfalls to avoid

FEE: $80 per person for the 2-day seminar

TIMES:

• Weeknight sessions are from 5:45 pm to 8:30 pm
• Saturday morning session for Groton is 9:30 am to noon

Please arrive 5 minutes early to check in:  Doors will be open at 5:30 pm for evening sessions.

REGISTRATION: Enrollment is confirmed on a first come/first served basis upon receipt of payment. Registrations will not be accepted without payment. You will receive confirmation of your enrollment by mail together with workshop time and exact location.
