It was bittersweet to have the opportunity to say thank you and goodbye to Commissioner Elin Howe at the Urban Youth meeting. We have worked so closely with Commissioner Howe over the years; her departure feels like the departure of a dear friend. Her tireless and passionate work on behalf of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities will be appreciated for years to come. We were able to send her off in style with a Saori scarf made by participants in the ASPiRE! day program. May this scarf, as well as the collective wishes from our Seven Hills family, keep her warm for years to come!
