LEMH offers rooms to 10 residents in its five two bedroom apartments. Residents are selected by House management according to the following criteria:

A life that is that is touched by HIV and AIDS already faces a great number of challenges and uncertainties. It is further complicated when homelessness,addiction recovery, recent incarceration, negative criminal history and poverty are added to the situation. We are committed to helping people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHAs) reenter the community through a sound, stable living environment. We just ask that each resident be our partner and uphold his/her commitment to a healthy, substance freelifestyle.Funding for the Luis E. Martinez House is provided by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and private donors.
