Autism Services

Children with autism and autism spectrum disorders function best within a highly structured, individualized educational program employing scientifically validated teaching procedures. The Autism Program at Seven Hills Clinical Associates serves children ages 6-22 with intensive behavioral learning designed with the whole child in mind. This program includes attention to each child’s social and emotional needs which are addressed in an atmosphere that emphasizes individual strengths and teacher/peer relationships.  Community-based activities are an integral part of the educational program. Social skills training, integrated social-recreational activities, sensory integration therapy, music, and culinary classes are available to every child.

Seven Hills Clinical Associates additionally offers, in collaboration with UMass Medical School an onsite Child Psychopharmacology Unit. Children are offered visits with a multidisciplinary team which includes nursing staff, teachers, physicians, licensed psychiatrists and behavior specialists. This integrated approach reduces reliance on multiple medications and increases positive behavior through collaboration.
