Substance Abuse/Addiction Services

Seven Hills Behavioral Health (SHBH) is committed to improving the quality of life of each client by providing efficient, effective treatment. Our substance Abuse/Addiction Treatment Program promotes dignity and respect, and offers clients the dedication that SHBH extends to all programs.

We believe that all people are capable of change. Our goal is to provide prompt, professional, and culturally competent services to assist patients and their families in improving their quality of life through treatment of issues related to substance abuse. SHBH Substance Abuse/Addiction Treatment Program provides individual, group and family counseling for a variety of issues including:

  • Substance Abuse/Addiction Assessments and Treatments
  • Methadone Maintenance
  • Outpatient Detoxification with Methadone
  • Physical Examinations
  • Laboratory Services
  • Drug Testing
  • Services provided in English or Spanish
  • Substance Abuse Assessments including GAIN (Global Appraisal of Individual Needs)
  • Substance Abuse/Addictions Counseling for Individuals, Groups and Families
  • Recovery & Relapse Prevention Groups
  • Anger Management Treatment
  • Services are provided in English and Spanish in New Bedford and Fall River, MA.

Fees

SHBH accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most commercial insurances. Sliding fees are available, depending upon state funding.
