Autism Housing Pathways is an organization of Massachusetts families who share an interest in creating self-directed housing to meet the needs of individuals with autism. AHP is engaged in assembling information on housing options for a variety of needs and incomes. Their goal is to provide their members with a road map to achieve their vision. Current Trends in Autism 2011
Current Trends in Autism 2011 (CTIA 2011) will be held on April 29th & 30th at the Crowne Plaza Boston-Natick. CTIA 2011 will deliver the most up to date, scientifically sound information in the field of Autism and Pervasive Developmental Disorders to parents and professionals concerned about children, adolescents, and adults whose diagnosis falls along the Autism Spectrum. Distinguished faculty will report on what is now known, how what we know can be applied to the education and care of those with autism, and what direction future research needs to take in order to advance our knowledge and understanding of this disorder.

The day is filled with information, resources and opportunities to meet fellow parents. The date is set for Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the World Trade Center in Boston. There will be a free Accessible Winter Recreation Festival at Dunn State Park in Gardner on Saturday, February 5, 11AM – 3PM. Dunn State Park is located at Route 101/Pearl Street in Gardner. The Department of Conservation and Recreation’s (DCR) Universal Access Program (UAP) will offers this fun-filled day of adaptive outdoor recreation and activities for people with disabilities, their families and friends. Activities will include ice skating, kick sledding, showshoeing, cross-country skiing, snowmobile rides, and sled hockey. There will be a campfire, indoor warming area and refreshments.
